Every AMEN free clinic and mission is made possible by the compassion and love of our volunteers.
From the first patient to the last, nothing could happen without the sacrifice of our medical volunteers. They are the heart of AMEN. Everything we have done has been made possible by the compassion of volunteers. Many of them are people who live in the local communities helping those in need in their own back yard, others have traveled across the county to help. The medical services AMEN offers at our clinics totally depend on the Healthcare professionals who have registered to serve. Without them we cannot carry out the mission. Healthcare professionals are vital to the delivery of quality free services. These include, but are not limited to: dentists, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, paramedics, EMT’s, dental hygienists, dental assistants and technicians, and therapists. Medical doctors and nurse practitioners serve patients at most expeditions, and other specialists have been requested and utilized at many clinics.
